I'm a Mellon Humanities Faculty Fellow in the Department of Philosophy at the University of California, Irvine. My main research interests are in ethics, social philosophy, and social ontology. I specialize in philosophical treatments of meaning in life. I also have keen interests in early modern philosophy and metaphysics.
I earned my PhD at UC Irvine (2023), my MA at the University of Western Ontario (2016), and my BA at the University of Saskatchewan (2015). Before finding philosophy, I worked for 8 years as a professional poker player in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
I teach a wide variety of courses in the Department of Philosophy and the Composition Program at the University of California, Irvine. Read more about what courses I teach and how I approach them as an instructor on the Teaching page.
